First Party Cookies

All the first-party cookies created by the Isle of Play site do not store any personal or sensitive information, or anything that makes you personally identifiable to Isle of Play. First Party Cookies are used for essential functionality such as security when processing form data or for analytics which helps us use anonymous visitor data to gain a better understanding of how people use our website.

If you close this Cookie Message, our web server will create a cookie called “cookieclosed”. Cookieclosed is essential for remembering that you have closed this message and to prevent the Cookie Message from continually reappearing. Cookieclosed expires after 24 months from the initial ‘close’ of the message, after which the Cookie Message may reappear if you revisit our website.

It contains a session ID which distinguishes your visit to our website from any other visitors that may be using the website at the same time. When you leave the Isle of Play website this sessional cookie expires.

Third Party Cookies created by external services
Third Party Cookies are cookies created by an external service when you use a page on our website. We sometimes use YouTube services to host our videos. We have embedded YouTube’s player in the Isle of Play website so you can watch our videos without leaving our website. YouTube’s embedded player currently creates and updates two Flash LSO objects from s.ytimg.com. The LSOs are soundData (which appears to store volume setting preferences) and videostats (which appears to store performance-related information). We have no direct control over YouTube’s use of the data stored in this object. For more information, please read YouTube’s privacy policy.
